A Slow Descent

As the Network further digs it's claws into the side of the Extreme Wrestling Alliance, the more the EWA and it's Megastars attempts to fight back. It leaves everyone wondering, what is the future of the EWA? Can they continue to resist the overwhelming power behind the network and everything they do? More Megastars have signed with WMPX, including Danny Diamond and former EWA Tag Team Champions, the Buckeyes. With more Megastars crossing the line, things aren't looking good for the EWA Management. When asked for a comment, General Manager Nicolas Griffin replied, "Let them go. The EWA isn' abou' individuals. It's about 'eart an' a strong powerful center." Rather cryptic, if you ask me. Could those be the words of a desperate man in desperate times?
Speaking of desperation, it appears that Nikki Chalice will never wear the EWA Women's Championship. Every time she's thrown herself into the fray, it has always been her that is left laying on the mat, staring at the lights above. Well, this was no different. As Sasha Talouse made her in ring return, she brought the fury everyone has come to expect from the former Women's Champion. Using a combination of some intense martial arts, as well as incorporating a few new moves of her own, this "Glamorous Gladiator" took the "Raven-Haired Vixen" to the woodshed and left her there. After a strong finish with "London Calling", there was nothing left to do but make the ominous three count to end the night for Chalice, as well as establish the number one contendership for Talouse.
In another horrendous beatdown, EWA Extreme Champion Donzig was set to square up against one of his number one contenders, Randy Roko. To speak of the horrible things that occurred leaves a sour taste in my mouth, but I will try my best. Donzig has obviously experienced some frustration as of late and he did everything he could to take out that frustration on his opponents. Chairs, ladders, barbed wire, road signs, stripped turnbuckles. These are only a FEW of the weapons the Hardcore Incarnate took into his employ. Donzig quickly finished off his prey with the "Donzig Stunner" and once again established himself as the King of the Extreme Mountain. But the odds are stacked against him for Equilibrium. Will he be able to withstand the force of three other men?
In our main event, it looked to be a contest of epic proportions. Three teams all intent on ripping one another apart. In one corner, there were the tag team champions, Doomsday and Lokee. In another corner, the World Heavyweight Champion and the Women's Champion, The Voodoo King and Phade. In the third corner, the number one contender Freakazoid and his ill-assigned partner, Chris James.
With the ring of the bell, the contest began, yet order would not remain for long. Within moments of the first grapple, Doomsday stormed the ring and attacked Chris James without reason. Their bout would take them to the outside of the ring and even out into the audience. Eventually, they fought their way to the backstage area and out of sight. It appeared that Doomsday was unwilling to wait until Equilibrium to get his hands on Chris James. This would leave Freakazoid and Lokee with no partners, but neither of them seemed to mind. Well, not at first. Seeing the opportunity, The Voodoo King and Phade immediately began to double team Freakazoid while Lokee simply stood off to the side grinning. With no motivation to attack, Lokee simply watched the carnage as the two began to slowly dissect the number one contender. That was when another number one contender struck. Running toward the ring with a head full of steam, Sasha Talouse powered down the ramp and into the ring. She immediately assaulted Phade and it was as if history had immediately repeated itself. Just like Doomsday and Chris James, these two fought all over the arena. It finally came down to three. As Freakazoid and the Voodoo King were ready to lock up, the crowd cheered with intense anticipation. It was finally a preview of the main event of Equilibrium! Yet, it would not be. Having his main event fall to pieces, Nicolas Griffin stepped in once again and called an end to the match, declaring it a draw. However, he also made another declaration. At Equilibrium, Freakazoid and the Voodoo King would face off in an Iron Man Match! But that's not all, Lokee would be the special guest referee! It will be all out hellfire and brimstone come February 1st! So order now!
